the sour peat acid is the result of the partial transformation of the sphagnum in the absence of oxygen and prolonged for centuries. the sphagnum is a moss that develops in areas where the rainfall is very high and the meteoric water, devoid of salts, constantly drained from the minerals the surface of the peat souring it. its ability to make soils compact and stable loose, makes it ideal as a finer to improve soils for garden or vegetable garden, facilitating processing and crop operations. the addition of peat to the soil increases the content of organic substance necessary to obtain a more stable and favorable structure to the growth of plants.
