bioton is a loam obtained from the mixing of fine peat, selected for granulometria and degree of humidification, montmorillonitic clay and bark humus. it lends itself both to the cultivation and repotting of many plant species, excluding acidophiles, and to the improvement of the available soil. for composition and for specific fertilization bioton is allowed in organic farming. the presence of clay allows to retain water and nutrients by gradually releasing them over time.
