the hedera algeriensis, also known as Algerian edera, is an evergreen climbing plant belongs to the araliaceae family. has woody stems that make themselves way on walls, fences, pergolas and other structures. its leaves, larger than the other varieties of hedera, have a lobed shape, with an inizally green yellowish light, which then become dark green with age. has moderate growth and can reach a maximum height of about 5-7 meters and a width of about 3-5 meters. It is resistant to cold being able to withstand temperatures up to -10°c. predilige exposure to full or half shade, but it also fits well to an exposure in full sun. as soil prefers it well drained and rich of organic substances, despite it fits well to different soils, including the sandy and clayey ones. can be used as a climbing plant, escaping and upholstery.
