the hakonechloa macra "aureola" is a perennial graminacea belonging to the poaceae family. It is a slow growing plant with linear and arcuated foliage. in the warm period, the leaves, have a bright yellow color with narrow green strips, while with the arrival of autumn they take a reddish color that, often, persists throughout the winter. prefers a partially shaded position, as it tolerates the shadow well and benefits from direct light hours, for optimal growth. as soil prefers it fertile and well drained, with regular and moderate annaphyations, avoiding water stagnations. It is very cold resistant, in fact it is able to survive at temperatures of -15 c°. It spreads quite easily and can be used as a headphone even if it is not invasive, as well as a classic use in flower beds and broths.
