The lupinus polyphyllus is a perennial plant of the fabaceous family, it consists of large palmated leaves that form thanks to numerous leaflets. Among these are high racemes that have a varying height between 50 cm and 150 cm that will host the flowers. In the season inflorescences covering the plant of blue flowers, violet, white, yellow, orange, red, pink, also mixed together giving the possibility to decorate the garden with color (or color mix) you prefer. Loves the low temperatures and does not tolerate the heat with positions of only half a day of sun. The ideal soil would be a fertile, deep, fresh, slightly acid, well drained but not dry. Irrigations must be abundant and regular in spring-summer with the arrival of the heat.

use:thanks to its colors, it is widely used in flower beds and high edges for ornamental purposes. It is not recommended to keep it in pot.
