the cosmos atrosanguineus, commonly called flower of chocolate, is a perennial herbaceous tubert belonging to the asteraceae family. has divided leaves and long stems on which, from July to October, bloom the very dark purple brown flowers. in the flowering period the plant emits a pleasant scent reminiscent of chocolate. requires a wet soil avoiding water stagnations, in fact it is recommended a soft and draining soil, and prefers a sunny exposure.
