the sylvatic fagus, commonly called wild beech or Beech common, is a caducifoglia plant belonging to the family fagacee. has an imposing trunk with smooth and grey bark with long elliptical leaves, whose margins are wavy. have a soft green color that darkens until the arrival of autumn when the color turns towards yellow, red, orange. now dry leaves remain on the plant for many months, coloring it and creating in the landscape a mix of colors, until the late winter where they will fall. does not have many requirements regarding the soil, adapting also in calcareous soils, despite preferring a deep, soft and fertile soil. needs irrigation only in a first period after the abode, periodically and weighted to avoid water stagnations. does not need pruning since it is able to autogestirsi even if it is possible to regulate it and contain it, especially if used in hedges.
