The pennisetum advena “rubrum”is a deciduous graminacea of the family of poaceae. Has strong roots that allow it a solid anchorage to the ground and consists of numerous thin stems with erect pattern at the base and then bend slightly towards the outside. The leaves are narrow, stripped, with acute apex and smooth margins and sharp of purpure red color. Prefers sunny positions or only partially shady and adapts to any type of soil, as long as well drained and permeable.
